Crumbles and Brews: Reviews & Ratings
I went here and had the mushroom/spinach toastie thing and a mocha (apologies I have incorrectly described the toastie) and omg. The mocha was actually good (often they aren't), but the toastie made me want to hug the chef. So tasty; yummy garlic and melty cheese (actual good cheese too), and generously proportioned and if you are hungry it is easily the best thing you can put in your mouth for six pounds fifty, plus you'll be really happy afterwards. I haven't eaten anything else here yet but this was *chef's kiss*
I work remotely so get to explore the local scene and have visited at least 8 local cafes. Today, I decided to try the Food Map Cafe and had a great time. The team are fantastic and so kind. I had a matcha latte, a normal latte, and a peanut butter/banana smoothie (the last one was on the house). The really fascinating thing about this spot is that the pastry is all home-made and not produced by a third-party. You can taste the authenticity with every bite. Lots of unique stuff Ive never tried before like the sardine tart. 10/10 experience. Will be back.
I want to thank the lovely barista from Sri Lanka for her kindness and great service. My parents don’t speak English very well, but she communicated with them so nicely and made them feel comfortable and welcome. We really appreciate her patience and warm attitude. The food was also very good — fresh, tasty, and well presented. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you to the team, especially that kind barista!

The café’s highlight, undoubtedly, is its muffin — a simple delight that echoes the charm of home baking with every bite.
The passion behind the kitchen is palpable in every dish. Take the mushroom and spinach toastie, for example. Rich, garlicky, and filled with melty, high-quality cheese, it’s a savory masterpiece that feels like a comforting hug on a plate. Priced reasonably, the portion generously satisfies, leaving you both full and content, a rare find in the bustling London café scene.

The café also surprises with unique offerings — think homemade pastries that don’t rely on third-party suppliers, bringing a fresh, authentic touch to traditional café fare.
Drinks here go beyond the ordinary. The mocha is a standout, balancing robust coffee flavors with creamy sweetness, defying the often disappointing café standard. The matcha latte is another favorite, celebrated both for its vibrant taste and the relaxed, inviting vibes enveloping the space.
